Aside from Baywatch, 1989 saw Shawn starring
alongside Edward Albert and Maxwell Caulfield in the psychological
thriller - Mind Games. Shawn plays the character of Rita Lund. Rita
and husband Dana's marriage is in crisis and Rita is frustrated from
being just a housewife. Together with her husband and son Kevin,
they set out on a camping trip through California. At a camp site
they meet hitch-hiker Eric Garrison, who befriends their son.
Dana invites Eric, against Rita's will, to join them on their
camping trip. What Dana doesn't know is that Eric is a brutal
psychopath who will force their son to join him in nightly trips of
vandalism.
